Through the generous support of ReCast Minneapolis, we are able to offer the following individual and group supports for changemakers. Changemakers are leaders, artists, community activists, educators, healers and others with a personal or professional commitment to co-creating a more whole, beautiful, and just world.
An evaluation capacity building cohort for Indigenous leaders who either live or work in Minneapolis and whose organization serves Indigenous people. Topics include evaluation 101, culturally responsive evaluation, and Indigenous methodologies. Facilitated by Nicholas Metcalf and Elizabeth Taylor-Schiro.
A 6-part group movement series and individual coaching for Minneapolis-based IBPOC changemakers. Using video conferencing, Inspire to Change will support participants to move, nurture, and heal their bodies as they lead in a changed and unpredictable world. Facilitated by Sandra J. Agustin.
A 6-part group writing series and individual coaching for Minneapolis-based IBPOC changemakers. Participants will create memoirs about their experiences during COVID-19 to process and understand their own experiences. Facilitated by A. Rafael Johnson.
Ten individual 1-hour sessions will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis to Minneapolis-based IBPOC changemakers. Sessions will focus on creating and sharing learning plans while adapting to the changing needs of communities during the Coronavirus pandemic. Offered by Dr. Nora Murphy Johnson.
