At Inspire to Change, our learning offerings are always evolving to meet the needs of learners and leaders who are ready to grow. While some courses have completed their run, the ideas and frameworks they introduced remain valuable. This page serves as an archive of retired courses, offering a window into the themes and approaches that have shaped our community and pointing you toward current opportunities that carry that work forward.
Why We Retire Courses
Retiring a course is not an ending but a transformation. As our understanding of learning deepens and the needs of our participants shift, we periodically refresh our catalog to stay relevant and impactful. Some courses are retired because they have been fully integrated into newer, more comprehensive programs. Others may have been designed for a specific moment or audience and have served their purpose. In every case, retirement reflects our commitment to quality and relevance over simply keeping a static menu.
We believe that learning is a living process. By retiring courses, we make space for new ideas, updated research, and more effective formats. This doesn’t mean the content disappears—it often resurfaces in new forms, whether as a module within a cohort experience, a resource in our core services, or a foundation for a future offering. You can explore our current Courses page to see what’s available now.
Online Self-Paced Classes
One of the most popular formats we’ve offered is the online self-paced class. These courses were designed for learners who value flexibility and autonomy. Instead of fixed meeting times, participants could move through the material at their own pace, fitting learning into busy schedules. The model emphasized individual reading and reflection, paired with self-paced video content that could be paused, revisited, and absorbed over time.

Self-paced classes were particularly well-suited for topics that benefit from personal contemplation. Learners could engage with concepts deeply, journal their responses, and return to challenging ideas without the pressure of a live classroom. While we currently do not have new self-paced classes open for enrollment, the principles behind them—learner agency, reflective practice, and accessible content—continue to inform our approach to course design. If you’re interested in a more structured but still flexible learning journey, our Cohort Experiences might be a good fit.
“Self-paced learning isn’t about going it alone; it’s about having the space to meet yourself in the material.”
Catalyzing Change Series: Live!
The Catalyzing Change Series was a landmark offering that invited participants to think beyond conventional business practices. The flagship course, Catalyzing Change: Beyond Business As Usual, shared our journey toward building a body of work that is more than a business. It explored how purpose, creativity, and social impact can be woven into the fabric of professional life, challenging the notion that work must be either profitable or meaningful—but not both.
This live series was more than a lecture; it was a conversation. Participants engaged with real stories, frameworks, and reflective exercises designed to spark new ways of thinking about their own work. The course drew on our experience in the arts and scholarship, emphasizing that change often begins with a shift in perspective. While the live series has concluded, the core ideas live on in our Catalyzing Change - Arts and Scholarship page, which offers related resources and insights.
Creative Evaluation & Engagement Series: Coming Soon
At the time of this archive, we had announced a Creative Evaluation & Engagement Series as “coming soon.” This series was envisioned to explore innovative ways to assess impact and foster meaningful engagement—moving beyond traditional metrics to embrace creativity in evaluation. While the series was ultimately not launched as a standalone offering, the themes it promised remain central to our work.

Creative evaluation is about asking better questions, not just collecting data. It invites us to consider the stories, relationships, and unexpected outcomes that numbers alone can’t capture. Engagement, likewise, is not about attendance but about genuine connection and participation. These ideas continue to influence our Core Services, where we help individuals and organizations design learning and evaluation processes that are both rigorous and imaginative.
How Retired Courses Inform Current Offerings
Every retired course leaves a legacy. The feedback, insights, and relationships built during those programs shape what we create next. For example, the self-paced format taught us the importance of clear structure and accessible resources, which we now incorporate into all our learning experiences. The Catalyzing Change Series reinforced our belief that transformative learning requires both intellectual challenge and emotional resonance.
We also learned that learners often want a blend of independence and community. This insight led to the development of our cohort-based programs, such as the Leading Together Cohort, which combines self-directed study with facilitated group sessions. By retiring courses thoughtfully, we ensure that our catalog remains a reflection of our best thinking—not a museum of outdated ideas.
What’s Next for You?
If you’re drawn to the themes of any retired course, we encourage you to explore what’s currently available. Our Courses page lists active offerings, and our Cohort Experiences provide immersive learning communities. For those interested in a more tailored approach, our Core Services can be customized to meet your specific goals.

Learning is not a linear path, and sometimes the most valuable step is to revisit where you’ve been. We invite you to browse this archive, reflect on what resonates, and then take that spark into a current opportunity. And if you’re unsure where to start, our Plans & Pricing page can help you understand the options available.
